Let’s say you’re on a tight budget yet you want a truly wireless stereo earphone badly. What will you do? Well, Truke Fit Pro is here with all the basic needs covered. A little bit of cost-cutting here and there. But if you consider the price it all even out. Truke is a German brand. Hence you can keep your buying no Chinese product sentiment unharmed. Anyway, so without further ado lets DIGIN2 the specs.

The Build Quality:

The Truke Fit Pro case is totally built out of plastic. Although it doesn’t look cheap at all, the weight and on-hand feel will certainly feel like it. The earpieces are designed elegantly too. They fit quite snuggly in the air. Furthermore, Truke has boasted a dolphin look-alike design on their site. There’s a notch at the opening point of the box. This comes extremely handy when you want to put it on quickly to attend a call or something. Moving on, the case is pretty small and pocketable at the same time. There are LED indicators inside the case to indicate the charging state of the earpieces. Even more, there are also R-L marking inside the case so that you can put the right piece in the right place.

Similarly, the Truke Fit Pro comes in three color variants namely Basil Green, Carbon Black and Royal Blue.

The Sound:

If corner cutting is done somewhere, this is where. Compared to other TWS earphones this one sounds pretty bad. But then again if you consider the price this pretty good. Even more, I can guarantee that if all you’ve listened to is in a ₹400 wired earphone all your life, then you won’t regret the sound. It takes an audiophile to understand the light problems it has. The bass is pretty heavy due to the 13mm drivers. These are some upgrades from the previous 10mm drivers in the earlier versions.

The mids and lows are where the Fit Pro fails a little bit. But if consider the average mass, and what they are listening to, then this is just perfect. Long story short, if you’re an average person, you won’t find a problem with these.

Charging and Battery capabilities of Truke Fit Pro:

The earpieces come with 40 mAh batteries inside them. Certainly, they can give you around 4hr of playback time. Even more, the charging case houses a 500 mAh battery inside it. Hence the case can charge the pieces four times. This will give the earphones a total playback time of around 18–20 hours. Although Truke claims it to be a 24 hours playback time.

But the most interesting thing is the charging case comes with a USB-C port. So no more proprietary chargers, just your all-rounder type-C charger can juice it up to 100% within 90 mins. Furthermore, 10 mins of charge can give a playback time of an hour for cases of emergency.

Controls and Gestures:

Truke Fit Pro doesn’t have gestures in it. Hence the deficit is managed with buttons on each of the earpieces. These buttons can do a lot of things. Here’s a picture from Truke’s official page describing the features.

Connnectivity and Pairing:

Likewise, the Truke Fit Pro comes with Bluetooth 5.0 which is a big deal in this price segment. I played it with my phone left two rooms apart and the signal didn’t break crossing 2 and a half walls through. Furthermore, the pairing is pretty easy too. This is a two-step process. First, you take out both the pieces at the same time. Consequently, they will pair with each other. First, both of them blink in blue/red LEDs and after they’ve paired with each other only of them keeps blinking. Consequently, you can search the device in your mobile’s Bluetooth section and connect with them. After this, they will auto pair just like any other Bluetooth device, the moment you take them out of the case. Easy peasy.

So that was it for the Truke Fit Pro. The earphones pack all the bare essentials and nothing else. Personally me seeing a type-C port in a ₹1099 TWS earphone was pretty shocking. So if you are looking for a basic TWS pairs for general stuffs (not calling) you can give it a try. Otherwise you should invest more. See you in the next article. Till then happy gadgeting.
