Nowadays Realme and Redmi both are trying to pack as many features as they can in the budget segment. Similarly, the Realme 7 is born. It has got all the main features that you can ask for. All the phones that are now available in the price segment fall far behind this one now. So without further ado let’s DIGIN2 the specs of this bad boy.

Build of The Realme 7:

The realme 7 has a plastic build all around. In spite of that, it looks premium due to the gradient finish at the back. The camera bump at the back extrudes only a little bit out of the surface. But it still exists. The device is 162mm tall, 75mm wide, and only 9.4mm thick. Weighing only around 197g the phone is quite lightweight. Furthermore, the device is available only in two colours — Mist Blue and Mist white.

The device has a rear mounted finger print scanner on top of the power button. Also there is a 3 card slot on the left-top side of the phone, that houses 2 sim cards and Micro-SD card if you allow it to.

The magnificent display:

This is the first thing I look out for on a phone nowadays. The realme 7 comes with a 90Hz, 6.5 inch, 2400 x 1080p FHD+ LCD display. Furthermore, there’s only a punch hole on the display to house the selfie camera. Due to that and the extremely thin bezels, the screen to body ratio has gone up to 90.5%.

The high refresh rate alone should be enough to convince you to buy this phone. Although it’s not OLED but still I will choose high refresh rate over OLED any day. The day to day experience improves significantly because of that.

Cameras of Realme 7:

The rear camera array of this device houses 4 cameras. As you all know by now, that the camera section is all about numbers rather than performance now. So here are some big numbers. The main camera is a Sony IMX682 64MP f/1.8 sensor. Another 8MP 119°, f/2.3 ultrawide sensor is also there. And then there are two useless lenses only to increase the numbers. A 4cm trash macro lens and another f/2.4 B&W Portrait lens.

Likewise, the camera performance is mediocre. You’ll be pleased with the images but there’s nothing extra-ordinary. Here are some sample shorts from Realme’s own site.

The 16MP selfie shooter is also okay with capturing selfies. Furthermore, it’s an f/2.1 ultrawide Sony IMX471 sensor. Hence it’s also capable of Ultrawide group selfies.

In terms of videography, the rear camera supports up to 4k 30fps. Additionally, you can take 240fps slo-mo 720p videos too. The selfie shooter on the other hand shoots 1080p 30fps at best and offers 120fps slo-mo videography. So nothing special there.

Battery and charging of Realme 7:

This phone comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery. This is also another selling point for the device. The realme 7 thus can give you one day of battery life easily. Even more, the device also supports 30W Dart Charging via the USB-C port at the bottom. Furthermore, it can go from 0 to 50% in just half an hour.

Finally, the internals:

The Realme 7 comes with the 2.05GHz Octa-Core Helio G95 with a carbon-fiber cooling mechanism inside. Furthermore, there is the Mali-G76 GPU inside to help out in the graphics-intensive tasks. In short, the cooling is great and so is the lag-free performance.

Similarly, the Realme 7 has also provided LPDDR4x 6GB/8GB ram options. With that, there’s the UFS 2.1 64GB/128GB internal storage to go with.

And that was it for the Realme 7. The device got everything you can ask for and still, the price starts at ₹15k only. Hence it’s the best phone under ₹15k right now. The next sale is on Sep 17th. So get ready for the fastest finger fast. Yes, that’s a bummer. But that is what you pay for a great phone. All links are likewise below mentioned. Happy gadgeting.
