Fitness is achieved over time. Some magical potions can’t make you fit overnight. So here’s a simple 5 step guide to help you. You can get into shape using this without going out. Furthermore, the steps will cover different layers of fitness that you seek. So hop on and follow the instructions onward.

Step 1: Plan a proper diet

These two are crucial-most pieces in the jigsaw puzzle of fitness. Cut out all the junk foods from your diet chart first hand. Then look at the carbs. If you’re taking way more simple carbs like rice then you’ll end up lethargic and sleepy. Rather focus on complex carbs. Furthermore, these will keep you satiated for a longer period of time.

Proteins are essential too. But don’t overdo them. Very little protein is bad for muscle growth. If you’re a vegetarian, find a supplement to or switch to plant-based proteins.

Fats are also essential for achieving proper fitness. But if the calories you take are more than you burn the fat will accumulate in your body. Due to that people get fat easily. So understanding CICO (CALORIE IN CALORIE OUT) is important.

And a lot of fruits and vegetables for vitamins and minerals your body needs. Without veggies, you’re pretty much dead with diseases. Also, they have a fiber that is good for your tummy. Add a sufficient amount of water along with your diet for better digestion.

Also, keep in mind, you have to design your diet according to your workload throughout the day. If you do most of the heavy work in the day then breakfast should be powerful. Similarly, don’t eat a drum full before going to bed.

Step 2: Regulate Sleep

Sleep is also a key factor in achieving a fit body and mind. Furthermore, studies have shown without sufficient sleep time a person will have difficulty in losing weight. Above all, insufficient sleep causes decay in our immune system. Hence a less healthy you leads to a less fit you.

So go to sleep at a proper time (9 pm-11 pm) and also rise at the proper time (5 am — 7 am). At least 7–9hrs of sleep is essential for the proper functioning of a fit body.

Step 3: Exercise properly

So sleep and eating is sorted. What’s next. Well, now time to move your butt out of the bed. Even more, there are plenty of articles, apps, and video tutorials in YouTube on exercise plans. So I’m not going to waste your time on that.

Here are some basic ideas…

  • Planks, crunches, pushups, and squats are essential.
  • Invest in a fabulous yoga mat else you’re screwed on your fitness journey.
  • Finally, invest in a good set of dumbells and kettlebells. There are literally hundreds of possible kettlebell routines that can build a strong physique.
  • No matter what your fitness guru says weight training is crucial for a stronger core

Step 4: Mental health, crucial for Fitness

If you’re not happy then the part of your brain that controls the immune system indirectly gets stressed. Due to this your health deteriorates. So don’t put a gigantic amount of pressure on yourself. Keep things chill.

Pursue a hobby to spend your time productively. Even more, achievements on those side hustles will keep you joyous to your core. Read a book, learn to play an instrument, or do whatever you think will go well with your fitness regime.
